Used Book Drop-off Days:
2nd Saturday of each month, 10:00a-1:00p in Community Room
The Friends of the Library accepts gently used books, DVDs, and CDs in SALEABLE condition on the second Saturday of each month from 10:00a - 1:00p. Donations will be considered for use in the Library's collection as well as merchandise included at the Friends Used Book Sales.
Note: due to limited storage space, we must limit you to 5 boxes per family per donation day.
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
- Textbooks
- Encyclopedias
- Magazines
- VHS tapes
- Books on Cassette
- Reader's Digest Condensed Books
For a receipt, please bring a count of hard cover and soft cover books with you.
Better World Books bin:
24/7 in library parking lot
We now have another way to donate your books. We have a bright green book donation bin from Better World Books in the southeast corner of the parking lot. This bin is there for when you can’t make it to a Used Book Drop-off Day. Better World Books will sell, donate, or recycle the books. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the books will go the Friends of the Library who, in turn, use that money to support the library with funds for programs, furniture, special events and more. We still welcome your donations on our Used Book Drop-off Days, but now you have another way to donate between drop-off days.
Please note: Only books should be put in the bin.
