Library Cards

Applying for a Library Card

Only residents of Waterford or Lake Angelus are eligible for a Waterford Township Public Library card.  There is no charge for registration.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic

One can register for a library card on-site or remotely.  When registering on-site, a valid photo ID showing the applicant’s current Waterford or Lake Angelus address is required.  A utility bill dated within the past 30 days or an official document stating that one rents or owns property in the Waterford or Lake Angelus area may be used to verify one’s residency if their picture ID has not been updated.  All bills and documentation must show the applying resident’s name.

To register for a library card remotely, call our Circulation Services Coordinator, Jonathan Deahl, directly at 248-618-7678 or complete this form.  Accounts registered remotely will be issued with an expiration date of 7/31/2021.

Youth Residents
