  7. Michigan History: Native American Tribes of Michigan

    Joe Oldenburg, retired librarian and former Michigan history professor at OCC, will talk about the first Native American tribes to live in Michigan-their clothing, food, shelter, religious beliefs, warfare, transportation, land ownership, and reservations. He will also include the removal of some tribes to the West and the coming of casinos to Native American lands. Registration required.
