The Quiet Study Room is available during normal library hour for use by
persons who require a quiet atmosphere in which to pursue individual
study. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Room Use Guidelines

Conversation or any other behavior that disrupts the quiet atmosphere in the room is not permitted.

Electronic equipment must be set for silent mode, e.g. laptops, personal digital assistants, smartphones.

As is true throughout the library, no smoking, food, or drinks without
lids are allowed. Cell phone use is prohibited in the Quiet Study Room.
Persons misusing the Quiet Study Room, disturbing others, being noisy,
etc., will be asked to leave.

Group study or tutoring is not permitted in this area. Please see the
librarians at the Adults’ Reference Desk to make arrangements to use
either the Group Study or the Assisted Study rooms for these
purposes.
