What are the benefits of Online Bill Payment?: Online Bill Payment is convenient and secure. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the tax collection year. With Online Bill Payment, you choose the date of payment. In addition, partial payments can be made. Using Online Bill Payment, the Township does not store any of your banking or credit card information. Treasurer Online Property Tax Payments

1. Can I pay with a credit or debit card at the Treasurer's Office?: Yes, credit and debit cards are now accepted for payment at the Treasurer's Office. There is a credit card convenience fee of 2.50% of payment amount (minimum charge of $3.95). PIN-based debit card transactions have a $3.95 convenience fee.

Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted for tax payments. MasterCard and Discover are accepted for all other payments.

2. What is the cost to the taxpayer for utilizing this service?: Online payments made electronically using a checking or savings account, commonly referred to as eCheck payments, will have a convenience fee of $1 for each transaction. Online payments using your credit or debit card are subject to a convenience fee of 2.49% of the payment amount.

3. Why do I have to pay a convenience fee for credit or debit card payment?: Credit and debit online transactions are processed through MasterCard or Visa. MasterCard and Visa charge a fee for using their product. This fee, called an interchange fee, and a handling fee from Chase Bank, comprises the 2.49% convenience fee.

4. Why do I have to pay a convenience fee of $1.00 for an e-Check payment?: Chase Bank is charging this fee for providing the service.

5. Can I make a partial payment?: Yes, however, you will have to pay a convenience fee for each transaction.

6. Can I select a future payment date?: Yes, you can choose any date July 1 through September 14* for the summer bill and any date December 1 through February 14* for the winter bill. Please note summer bills paid after the due date will include late interest. If September 14 or February 14 falls on a weekend or a holiday, the payment will be due by the next business day.
