WATERFORD TOWNSHIP EXTENDS CONTRACT WITH PRIORITY WASTE FOR ONE YEAR


February 25, 2025 -- The Waterford Township Board of Trustees voted Monday, February 24, 2025, to extend its contract with Priority Waste through March 31, 2026 as the designated waste hauler for Waterford’s residential customers.

All provisions of the current contract will carry over into the contract extension period.

Waterford leadership worked with Priority Waste to negotiate a rate freeze saving Waterford customers a minimum 3% increase going into year 6 of the contract. All Waterford customers will also receive a welcome letter from Priority Waste within the first few weeks of the contract renewal that will provide information about services, billing, and customer service at Priority Waste.
