Cleanup Event Goes Virtual

Though We Can't Be Together, We Can Do This Together!

Like so many events in 2020, Waterford Township's 5th Annual Earth Day Township Cleanup Event had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Governor's Stay Home, Stay Safe order.

But that's not going to stop our awesome community from our commitment and dedication to our annual cleanup efforts!

We've regrouped, made some changes, and we're taking this event remote/virtual for 2020!

Join us for 5th Annual Township Cleanup/First Ever Virtual Township Cleanup event right here in Waterford!
Volunteers will be out in the community doing their part to collect and clean up rubbish along roadways in some of the most visible areas of the Township.

When: Instead of the one-day event we've had in the past, volunteers can work anytime between the July 15 and July 26.

Where: All throughout Waterford Township! As long as it's public property in Waterford Township, it's your choice where you would like to clean up. We do have some suggested areas that need extra TLC, so if you're looking for suggestions, check out the list below. Questions? Contact the Township Supervisor's office at 248-674-6201 or by email.

How: Stop by to collect your supplies at any of the designated times below through contactless pickup, or call 248-674-6201 for alternate options.
Don't forget to email us your photos and/or post them to the Facebook Event page so we can share our collective efforts with each other. Check out some of the photos below from previous years' events.
