[ARCHIVED] Annual Township Cleanup Event - Earth Day Saturday

Earth-Day- You Can Make a Difference

Saturday, April 23, 2022   8am to 2pm (or anytime between those hours!)

Join Waterford Township residents & business volunteers, and various community organizations for a Township Cleanup day in conjunction with  Earth Day. Together we can make a huge impact!

Calling all residents, business owners, groups, civic organizations, families, clubs, neighbors, churches: gather up your team and join in this positive and impactful annual community cleanup event. Each year dedicated volunteers gather together on a Saturday in April in honor of Earth Day for Waterford Township's Annual Earth Day Township Cleanup event.

Since the event’s inception in 2016, more than 150 volunteers have removed approximately 170 cubic yards of litter making the community look better and helping to protect our abundant waterways from becoming the final resting place for this harmful debris.Thank you to the many volunteers for your hard work and dedication to this important community project.

In addition to our dedicated volunteers who return each year, we'd love to welcome new volunteers to continue to grow the event and increase the impact we're having. Signup for the 2022 event is now open. Please visit www.waterfordmi.gov/earthday for more information. Complete the Google signup form
