Waterford customers who will be impacted by the outage should have received a phone call today with the following message from DTE:
"Tomorrow, Thursday, September 17, we (DTE) will be interrupting your power for about one hour, starting at 7:30 p. m. This outage is necessary so that we can safely perform work on the electrical system.
During the outage, please unplug televisions, computers, and other sensitive electronics to prevent damage while the power is being restored.
We sincerely appreciate your patience as we work to improve your service."
