Oakland County is coming together to help Houston.
“Oakland County cares about the hurricane victims in the Houston area,” said L. Brooks Patterson, Oakland County Executive.
I've asked Phil Bertolini, Deputy County Executive, to head up the coordination of a Hurricane Harvey Donation Drive called Oakland Cares. Help us fill another truck with Hurricane Harvey Relief Supplies!
Volunteers are collecting donations of clean-up, hygiene, child care and pet care supplies.Drop off donations from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily through Friday, September 8th in the parking lot behind the North Office Building (Building 26 East) on the Oakland County government campus at 1200 N.
