As part of the 2023 Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) Beach Monitoring Program, the following beach remains CLOSED:
Lakeland Estates Beach on Eagle Lake in Waterford due to elevated E. coli levels: 172 M.P.N./100 ml daily geometric mean, 226 M.P.N./100 ml 30-day geometric mean
These results are above the allowable limit for 30-day sampling.
Additional samples are being collected today. Results will be available tomorrow.
OPEN -- As part of the 2023 Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) Beach Monitoring Program, the following beaches are OPEN
Dodge Park #4 Beach on Cass Lake in Waterford due to acceptable E. coli levels: 231 M.P.N./100 ml daily geometric mean, 41 M.P.N./100 ml 30-day geometric mean
Rangate Park Beach on Elizabeth Lake in Waterford due to acceptable E. coli levels: 17 M.P.N./100 ml daily geometric mean
These results are below the allowable limit for E. coli for daily and 30-day sampling.
The allowable limit for daily sampling is 300 MPN/100 ml. The allowable limit for 30-day sampling is 130 MPN/100 ml.

As part of the 2023 Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) Beach Monitoring Program, the following beaches are closed:
Dodge Park #4 Beach on Cass Lake in Waterford due to elevated E. coli levels: 839 M.P.N./100 ml daily geometric mean
Lakeland Estates Beach on Eagle Lake in Waterford due to elevated E. coli levels: 346 M.P.N./100 ml daily geometric mean
Rangate Park Beach on Elizabeth Lake in Waterford due to elevated E. coli levels: 527 M.P.N./100 ml daily geometric mean
These results are above the allowable limit for E. coli for daily sampling. The allowable limit for daily sampling is 300 MPN/100 ml. OCHD will post signs and collect additional samples today July 5, 2023. Results will be available tomorrow, July 6, 2023.
