S.A.D. Ballot Proposal Town Hall Meeting

Fire Chief John Lyman and Police Chief Scott Underwood will host an informational Town Hall Meeting regarding the upcoming Public Safety S.A.D. ballot proposal on Thursday, July 26, 2018, from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the Town Hall auditorium. This is an opportunity for the community to learn about the proposal on the August 7th State Primary Election ballot to establish a special assessment district for police and fire funding. The meeting will also be broadcast live on Municipal Channel 20.

51st District Court Amnesty Program

The 51st District Court will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Michigan's District Court System by holding a two week ticket Amnesty Program between July 30th and August 10th (excluding weekends).  For more information on the program visit the 51st District Court's website or check us out on Facebook, Twitter, or call the Court directly at 248-674-4655.

Oakland Uncorked 2018

Join the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce at the Oakland County Farmer’s Market for Oakland Uncorked Friday, August 3, 2018 7-10pm. Oakland Uncorked is a unique craft beer, wine & food tasting experience hosted in partnership by the Oakland County Farmers Market, SCAMP and the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy an evening of culture and entertainment while experiencing the best Oakland County has to offer in culinary tastings, fine wines and local craft beer.. Also featuring Jazz Music Provided by Scott Gwinnell, a silent auction, and local artisans. August 7, 2018, State Primary Election

The State Primary Election will be held in the Charter Township of Waterford, County of Oakland on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Voters wishing to obtain an absentee ballot may do so by contacting the Township Clerk’s office.  The Clerk, or their designee, will be available in the Clerk’s Office, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.  In addition, the Clerk’s office will be open the Saturday preceding the election, August 4, 2018, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the deadline for requesting an absentee ballot which will be mailed.

White Maintenance Garage at Fish Hatchery Park

The White Maintenance Garage at Fish Hatchery Park project was completed with seasonal parks maintenance staff and community service.  The cost of materials was $5,912.60 (Garage Doors $2,190.00 and Siding & Materials $3,722.60).
