Each year dedicated volunteers gather together on a Saturday in April in honor of Earth Day for Waterford Township's Annual Earth Day Township Cleanup event.

Since the event’s inception in 2016, more than 300 volunteers have removed approximately 190 cubic yards of litter making the community look better and helping to protect our abundant waterways from becoming the final resting place for this harmful debris.Thank you to the many volunteers for your hard work and dedication to this important community project.

Thank you to our important partners who also make it possible to keep costs to a bare minimum.
GFL Environmental, USA for donating dumpsters
Burke Building Center for donating gloves
McNab's Hardware for donating gloves and bags
Great Lakes Ace Hardware on M-59 for donating gloves, bags, bottled water
Tenuta's Food Lane - Bottled water and bags

In addition to our dedicated volunteers who return each year, we'd love to welcome new volunteers to continue to grow the event and increase the impact we're having.
