Michigan Activity Pass

Michigan Activity Pass, presented by The Library Network, celebrates its 16th anniversary this year.

The program, originally named "Museum Adventure Pass, " began in the fall of 2007 and included 30 destinations and public libraries in six metro Detroit counties. Over 15 years  later, the Michigan Activity Pass program of 2023 features over 450 partner destinations available to patrons of the 638 participating public libraries.

Program Overview

To print a pass or view a listing of participating organizations, visit the Michigan Activity Pass website. Each activity pass expires 1 week from the date it is printed. Each library will have 5 passes available per day for each of the participating destinations, and you will need a valid library card in order to print a pass.

Some cultural partners offer complimentary or reduced price admissions. Others offer discounts in their gift shop or other exclusive offers for MAP passholders only. If you haven't taken advantage of this program in the past, here is your chance to visit some of the great attractions Michigan has to offer. Some of the participating cultural partners include the Gilmore Car Museum, the Michigan Science Center, the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, and many others.
