Residential curbside yard waste collection season is almost here!
This year's yard waste collection season is April 5 through December 17th and will be collected curbside on your regular weekly collection day.
Just a few reminders:
Trash, yard waste, and recycling must be at the curb no later than 7:00 a.m. on your collection day.
Place yard waste in brown yard waste bags, or in plastic containers no larger than 32-gallons and clearly marked as compost facing the street. Branches should be no more than two inches in diameter, no longer than four feet in length, and must be bundled.
Bundles and containers must weigh less than 50 pounds.
No tree stumps or trunks are accepted.
Compost in plastic bags will not be accepted.
Single Residential Waste Hauler Information
Beginning March 30, 2020, Waterford Township single residences with curbside pickup will begin utilizing a single waste hauler for curbside collection of solid waste, yard waste, and recycling.
All billing questions, discounts, purchase of additional carts, missed pick-ups, and customer service feedback should be directed to GFL at the numbers above.

On the 2nd Saturday of each month, a container is located in front of Township Hall for the collection of corrugated cardboard, magazines, and paper board (e.g. cereal boxes, toothpaste boxes, generally most food and personal product packaging. Must be free of food debris and dry.) Collection is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.. If an official holiday falls on the 1st Saturday of the month, collection will not occur and will resume according to the established schedule. Residents only. No commercial haulers allowed.
