Summer Reading Kick-Off Day
Monday, June 19
10:00AM-12:00PM ~ 2:00-4:00PM ~ 5:30-7:30PM
Children's Department
No registration required.  Just come to one of the session.

Stop by the children’s department any time during the open sessions, and pick up your summer reading goodie bag, then visit different activity stations around the children's room.  At each station, you will collect an item for your summer reading bag.  Activities include games, temporary tattoos, art projects, mosaic murals, face cheek painting, button making station, and a cool treat in our craft room.

We provide the chalk and the space, you provide the art!  We're decorating the library sidewalks.  Because we'll be outside, be sure to wear your sunscreen!

Create a summer tie-dye shirt.  BRING a single clean, pre-washed white or light colored t-shirt, nothing larger.  You will only be allowed to dye one item.  Aprons are provided, but be sure to wear old clothes to be safe.  

There are two sessions.  Please only register for one.

Miniature Motorway Demolition Derby
(recommended for ages 6 and up)
Thursday, July 6

10:30AM-12:30PM (Four 30-minutes sessions)

It's Demolition Derby time!  Children compete in groups of eight, racing their mini-racing cars on a track, rotating out the races.

Please only register for one 30-minute time slot.  Only participating children need to be registered (caregivers are still invited to watch).
